Hello Jovica. Thank you so much for reading my story and taking the time to write a comment. You are right education is the key. It is good that you know where you stand with prediabetes, and that you are mindful about going in the wrong direction. It is easy to ignore health and avoid getting checkups if you “feel fine,” but with diabetes this is a dangerous approach. I think it is easier to prevent the disease than to reverse it once you have reached a certain level. I’m a big fan of food too (unfortunately the mostly unhealthy kind) and it’s been a struggle changing my relationship with food.

If you drink coffee, I would like to suggest something called Bulletproof coffee. You can find more information in the link below. If I had to point to one change I made that had the greatest impact on my weight loss, it was having Bulletproof coffee for breakfast. I wish you the best!
