I’ve lost 6 pounds in less than three weeks. Here’s what I’ve been doing.
I’ve been spending a lot of time and energy improving my health. The main reason is that I dug myself into a deep hole (type 2 diabetes), and I’m trying to crawl my way out. It’s not a fun experience. It takes focus and discipline. I know life won’t be like this forever. The work I’m putting in now will pay off in the future, but what about now? Is what I’m doing working?
It depends on what you mean by “working.” Losing weight? Check. Great sleep? Check. Full of energy in the morning and throughout the day? Check. The brain is sharp and focused? Check. Fasting glucose below 100 mg/dL? It finally happened this weekend! Check.
How am I pulling all this off? If you’ve been a Be Wellthy subscriber, you know about all my experiments because I’ve been writing about them. What was the trigger for the latest weight loss? A low-carb diet and consuming fewer calories overall.
I’ve provided general information, but some people want to know specifics. Let me present a typical day to show you what I’m doing.
