Mel — First let me say I was entertained by the portion of your story that I would describe as an “ode to fast food.” I have only visited Sonic a few times when they have lured me with some sort of deep fried macaroni and cheese bites. I, too, enjoy fast food goodness on occasion. I’m wondering now that Coke Zero has been replaced with something called Coke Zero Sugar, are they serving the new version?

I have had similar poor customer service experiences, and I applaud your attempts to resolve the issues. More than once I have executed the final option of “voting with me feet,” choosing no longer to patronize a business. A recent example is Budget/Avis rental car. Perhaps I will tell that story at some point.
