On Saturday, Phoenix reported a record high of 114 degrees F, tying the record for the date set back in 1918. It’s summer, the oven is on, and everyone keeps telling everyone else to stay hydrated. But what does that mean?
Just drink more water. Ok, what kind? Tap water? No. There’s most likely fluoride, lead, and chlorine/chloramine in tap water. You need to filter tap water before you drink it, and there are many options. I have a reverse osmosis system under the sink that delivers crystal clean water on tap.
Drinking plain water gets boring, so what are some options for spicing things up? Have you ever tasted water from a mountain stream or natural river? Not only does it taste better, but it’s healthier than the water from the faucet. One of the reasons is the natural movement of the water. The company Mayu has developed a water pitcher that creates a vortex swirl that restructures and aerates water like in nature.
